    chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    taco seasoning (see recipe on my pg) or 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
  • 2 can(s)
    chicken broth
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 1/2
    onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1 bunch
  • 2 tsp
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 1 can(s)
    corn (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce

  • ·
    shredded cheese
  • ·
    tortilla chips
  • ·
  • ·
    sour cream

How to Make Tortilla Soup


  1. Boil chicken breast until no pink remains. Remove, cool, and dice.
  2. In a large pot heat butter and saute onions and garlic. Add broth, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, worcestershir sauce and taco seasoning. Chop cilantro and add to pot. Drain canned corn and add to pot. Add diced chicken. Heat to boil, reduce heat and cook 15 minutes before serving.
  3. Top with supplemental toppings if desired.
