Ingredients

  • 12 cups water
  • 4 large tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 sheet Kombu (large)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt

How To Make tomato kombu broth

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and simmer for 2 hours.
  • Step 2
    Strain through a fine mesh strainer and ditch the solids.
  • Step 3
    Place in the fridge for 5 days or freezer for 3 months.
