Great for a big crowd. I have been told it tastes better than Olive Gardens "Toscana" soup.

    italian sausage

    large potatoes, sliced in 1/4 inch slices
  • 2
    large chopped onions
  • 2 pkg
    real bacon bits
  • 6 c
    chopped kale
  • 87 oz
    chicken broth
  • 3 qt
  • 1 qt
    heavy whipping cream
  • 2 c

How to Make Tammy's Tuscana Soup


  1. Cook sausage in a 300 degree oven for approximately 40 minutes; drain on paper towels and cut into slices.
  2. Place onions, potatoes, chicken broth, water and milk in a pot & cook on medium heat until potatoes are done.
  3. Add sausage, bacon bits, and pepper to taste, then simmer another 10 minutes.
  4. Turn to low heat; add Kale and heavy cream.
    Heat thoroughly and serve.
