Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 can (14 oz) stewed tomatoes, undrained and chopped
  • 2 cans (16 oz) pinto beans, undrained
  • 1 can (14 oz) cream style corn
  • 1 can (14 oz) beef broth
  • 2 cans (15 oz) beef tamales in chili sauce undrained and cut into pieces

How To Make tamale soup

  • Step 1
    Brown meat.
  • Step 2
    Saute onions and green peppers then add to meat.
  • Step 3
    Add tomatoes, beans, corn, and broth; bring to a boil then simmer uncovered 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Step 4
    Stir in tamale pieces. Serve hot.
