super easy italian sausage/artichoke soup

I went to a Soup Supper at my Son's Family's Church. I ate this soup....and couldn't figure out who brought it. So I put a sticky note on the crockpot she'd brought it in....and sure enough, she emailed me the recipe the next day. It is my husband's favorite. It takes NO TIME to make and it finished when you put the last ingredient in. YUM!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. - sweet italian sausage
  • 2 cans - diced tomatoes with basil and garlic
  • 2 cans - artichoke hearts in brine
  • 2 cans - water

How To Make super easy italian sausage/artichoke soup

  • Step 1
    Remove sausage from casings. Brown in a soup pot. DO NOT DRAIN! There will be very little grease and it will be the flavoring for the soup. Add drained artichokes (I chop them up a bit. Add diced tomatoes. Add 2 cans of water. DONE! It is ready to eat as soon as the vegetables are heated up.
