4 ozgood quality sun-dried tomatoes

3 cboiling water

3 clovegarlic

1 cancrushed tomatoes (28 oz)

1 tspgranulated sugar

1 Tbsptomato paste

salt and pepper

1 cDitalini pasta

1/4 cchopped fresh basil

1/2 cgrated Parmesan cheese
How To Make sun-dried tomato pasta soup with parmesan and basil

1Place the sun-dried tomatoes in a large bowl. Pour the boiling water over top and let sit for 15 minutes to soften.

2Remove the sundried tomatoes to a food processor and reserve the liquid. Add the garlic to the food processor and process until chopped small.

3Add the reserved water to a large pot. Add the tomato garlic mixture, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and sugar; bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat to a simmer and simmer 20 minutes.

5Add the cup of ditalini during the last 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

6Add the basil and Parmesan cheese when serving.
