ground beef
green bell peppers, chopped
1 large
onion, chopped
2 can(s)
beef broth (14 oz)
1 can(s)
tomato sauce (i use a 29 oz can of redpack)
1/4 c
packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 tsp
1/2 c
white rice

How to Make Stuffed Green Pepper Soup


  • 1In a Dutch oven brown ground beef and drain
  • 2Add green peppers and onions
  • 3Cook covered for 4 minutes; stirring after 2 mins
  • 4Add beef broth, tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and salt Bring it to a boil.
  • 5Add rice and reduce heat.
  • 6Simmer covered for 30 to 40 minutes. Stir occasionally or until rice is tender. Enjoy :-)
