Ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 - green pepper, diced
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 2 - potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 pound linguica, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound string beans, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can 8 oz. tomato sauce
How To Make string bean and linguica soup

Step 1Saute onion and green pepper in butter until onions are tender. Place onion and pepper in pot with potatoes, linguica and beans. Add enough water to cover. Add allspice,salt and pepper. Stir in tomato sauce. Cover and simmer until beans are tender, about 1 hour.
