1 capple juice
1 cwater, divided
1/2 tspground cinnamon
1/8 tspground cloves
2 cfresh strawberries
2 cstrawberry yogurt
How to Make Strawberry Soup
- Combine the apple juice, ¾ cup water, sugar, cinnamon and cloves in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and stir occasionally until sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool.
- Place the strawberries and remaining ¼ cup water in a blender and process until smooth.
- Pour strawberries into a large bowl. Add the yogurt and cooled juice and spice mixture. Stir well to combine. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
- Pour into soup or dessert bowls and garnish with strawberry slices and a small dollop of sour cream, if desired.
