split pea soup
(1 RATING)
This was the soup my mother made while my brother and sister were growing up. She used ham hocks while I use a ham bone and add a touch of sherry at the end. Cut up hot dogs were added but with the ham bone, there's enough meat to put in. It is sooooo good and special!
