- 3/4 pound chicken thigh cut in bite sized pieces
- 2 cups cut okra
- 1 cup onion diced
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 1/2 pound andouille sausage sliced
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can diced tomato undrained
- 1 cup frozen shrimp
- 1 1/2 cups uncook white rice
- 3 cups chicken broth
How To Make slow cooker gumbo

Step 1in frying pan combine flour and oil. cook stirring constantly on med heat 5 min reduce to low continue cooking and stirring 8-10 min until turns light red brown. add to slow cooker

Step 2add all ingredients except shrimp, rice, and broth. cook low 8-9 hours

Step 3add shrimp cook anouther 20 mins

Step 4cook rice in broth

Step 5serve gumbo over rice
