This recipe is from Over the Open Fire Cookbook. You could make this at home, but it is written to be used while camping or cooking outdoors.

    ground turkey or beef
  •   1
    onion, chopped
  •   2 pkg
    ranch salad dressing mix
  •   2 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  •   1 can(s)
    black beans
  •   1 can(s)
    kidney beans
  •   1 can(s)
    pinto beans
  •   1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes with chilies (rotel)
  •   1 can(s)
    stewed tomatoes
  •   1 can(s)
    white corn
  •   2 c
    sour cream
    shredded cheddar
    sliced green onions

How To Make

    Cast Iron needed: 14" Deep Dutch Oven, 10" skillet.

    Saute meat until browned. Add chopped onion and cook 5 minutes. Drain fat, if there is any. Add ranch and taco seasonings to meat, stir well. Add remaining ingredients, undrained, and water. Simmer 2 hours. Serve with remaining.
