Tasty tomato based Soup with cheesy raviolis

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 28 ounces can crushed tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons each fresh parsley & basil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon each dried thyme and oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

How To Make ravioli soup

  • Step 1
    Brown the beef in a pan with the onions, & garlic. When cooked through add the tomato juice, crushed tomatoes, and tomato paste.
  • Step 2
    Cook until well combined. Add the parsley, basil, sugar, thyme and oregano. Taste and season with salt and pepper
  • Step 3
    Cook the ravioli in boiling salted water. Once they float to the top drain and add them to the soup. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan Cheese
