Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper, ground
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • - bacon bits

How To Make potato soup

  • Step 1
    Combine the broth, potato, onion, salt, pepper, and red pepper and boil on medium until potatoes are tender.
  • Step 2
    Smash a few potatoes to thicken and reduce heat to low. (might need to thicken further with flour)
  • Step 3
    Add cream cheese and stir until melted. Top with bacon bits (optional)
