My family loves this soup anytime of the year. Simple, yet delicious.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 3 cups frozen broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make potato broccoli soup

  • Step 1
    Combine the vegetables & broth into a soup pot.
  • Step 2
    Cover & simmer until the vegetables are tender.
  • Step 3
    Combine the milk & flour in a small bowl.
  • Step 4
    Add the milk mixture along with the shredded cheese to the pot.
  • Step 5
    Increase the heat to medium. Stir just until the cheese melts & mixture begins to thicken.
