I made this recipe up 6 years ago, when all we had in the house was some leftover pork, diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Its great with a loaf of French bread to soak up the juices.

Ingredients For pork soup

  • 1 lb
    cooked pork, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 md
    onion, diced
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes (keep the juice)
  • 3 can
    chicken broth
  • 2 tsp
    lawry's seasoning salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make pork soup

  • 1
    Dice pork into bite size pieces, and sprinkle seasoning salt over it, making sure all pieces have some salt on it them.

    Dice onion ( your preference on how big or small you like your pieces to big).

    Brown pork and onion in 3 tablespoons butter over medium heat, when browned add the dice tomatoes and chicken broth. Let cook between 45 minutes to an hour. Great with French bread.
