Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 12 ounces rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons red miso
  • 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
  • 1 can scallions, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 2 teaspoons Chinese black vinegar
  • chili oil for garnish

How To Make pork and red miso rice noodle soup

  • Step 1
    Cook the rice noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Add the ground pork to a large pot and cook the pork until no longer pink. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the red miso and soy sauce. Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil.
  • Step 4
    Reduce the heat and add the noodles and scallions. Simmer 5 minutes. Add the black vinegar.
  • Step 5
    Ladle into bowls and drizzle in chili oil.
