I'm single and on a very tight budget. I need to cook things that will stretch instead of just being for a single meal...I had some family come over and they ate some and asked me to make them some to carry home with them.

    polska kielbasa sausage
  • 2
    potatoes cut in small chunks
  • 1/2
    cut zucchini
  • 2 can(s)
    ranch style beans
  • 1 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1tsp
    soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp
    a-1 sauce
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 6 cups

How to Make Penny Penching Soup


  1. Cut the Polska Kielbasa Sausage into very thin slices
  2. Cut the potatoes into small cubes you can use frozen hash browns
  3. Cook sausage and potatoes in 3tbsp olive oil until done
  4. Add remaining ingredients including rice and let simmer until rice is cooked
