I think we all like this because it says "hamburger"! Mom likes this one without the cream and it is one of her favorites.

Ingredients For paulette's hamburger soup

1 lbground beef
-
1onion
-
2 mdcarrots
-
2 stalkscelery
-
10 smmushrooms
-
1 cchopped bell pepper (yellow or red are the best)

2bay leaves
-
1 tspspike seasoning
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspgranulated garllic
-
4 carrugula
-
1/2 ccream or half & half
-
4 cbeef broth
How To Make paulette's hamburger soup

1Brown hamburger and make sure it is broken up fine. Add onion, carrots, celery, mushrooms, bell pepper and sauté until veggies are softened slightly.

2Add beef broth and spices. Simmer for approx 1 hour.

3Add arrugula and cream about 2 minutes before serving. Just make sure the is cream or that you temper the half & half. Bring up to temp and serve. You don't have to add the cream, it is wonderful with or without it.
