    water, 3 times the normal amount used to cook potatoes

How to Make My Cabbage Soup


  1. In a large pot, fry onion and cabbage in butter slowly until tender and brown about 25 minutes.
  2. Boil potatoes until cooked.
  3. Add tomatoes and fried onion and cabbage.
  4. Season to taste.
  5. Simmer 30 minutes.
  6. Sausage can be browned with the vegetables and added as desired.
