water, 3 times the normal amount used to cook potatoes

How to Make My Cabbage Soup


  • 1In a large pot, fry onion and cabbage in butter slowly until tender and brown about 25 minutes.
  • 2Boil potatoes until cooked.
  • 3Add tomatoes and fried onion and cabbage.
  • 4Season to taste.
  • 5Simmer 30 minutes.
  • 6Sausage can be browned with the vegetables and added as desired.
