Ingredients
- 1/2 - medium cabbage
- 5 - onions, sliced
- 1/2 pound butter
- 6 - potatoes, diced
- 28 ounces tomatoes
- - water, 3 times the normal amount used to cook potatoes
How To Make my cabbage soup

Step 1In a large pot, fry onion and cabbage in butter slowly until tender and brown about 25 minutes.

Step 2Boil potatoes until cooked.

Step 3Add tomatoes and fried onion and cabbage.

Step 4Season to taste.

Step 5Simmer 30 minutes.

Step 6Sausage can be browned with the vegetables and added as desired.
