4 slice
4 Tbsp
1/3 c
4 c
4 oz
shredded cheese
salt & pepper to taste
4 oz
sour cream

How to Make Mashed Potato Soup


  • 1Prick potatos with fork, microwave on high until cooked, about 12-15 minutes.
  • 2Let cool slightly (i throw mine in the freezer for 5-10 minutes).
  • 3scoop out the flesh and mash with fork.
  • 4cook and crumble bacon.
  • 5Melt the butter in large saucepan over medium heat
  • 6Add flour and whisk until smooth and light golden.
  • 7Slowly whisk in milk and cook until thickened, 5-6 minutes.
  • 8Stir in cheese, potatos and salt and pepper. Cook until cheese melts.
  • 9Whisk in sour cream and bacon, serve when ready.
