My friend Margaret only cooks a few dishes, but what she does cook is scrumptious like this soup! Most of her recipes come from her Mom, who is an excellent cook!

  • 1 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1 c
    bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 c
    onion, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of shrimp soup
  • 1 can(s)
  • 1 can(s)
  • 1 c
    instant rice
  • 3/4 lb
  • 1 tsp
    parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp
    curry powder
  • ·
    small can chopped black olives

How to Make Margaret's Shrimp Soup


  1. Saute chopped celery, bell pepper and onions in the butter. Add shrimp soup, water and milk.
  2. Simmer until smooth and add the instant rice and then the shrimp, parsley, salt, pepper, curry and black olives.
