Ingredients
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 16 ounces diced tomatoes
- 2 cups carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound dry lentils
- 8 cups water
- 14 ounces smoked kielbasa sausage
How To Make lentil soup

Step 1In a 6 quart pan, simmer onions in olive oil until very soft.

Step 2Stir in flour; cook until bubbling. Do not brown.

Step 3Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered for 2 hours.
