Ingredients For kicked up potato soup

  • 5 lbs.
    russet potatoes
  • 12 oz
    pork sausage, mild
  • 12oz
    pork sausage, hot
  • 1 sm
    sweet onion
  • 3 md
    green onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried celery flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    lemon pepper(with spices)
  • 2 can
    evaporated milk
  • 1/2 stick
    parkey (only tastes like butter)

How To Make kicked up potato soup

  • 1
    Peel and dice(small) potatoes put in large pot and cover with water, add finely diced sweet onion and diced green onion, parkey, and all the spices. Boil until potatoes are very tender and water is thickened. In the mean time brown both packages of sausage in cast iron fry pan. When potatoes are ready add sausage to pot, cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching. Add both cans of evaporated milk, continue on low heat until milk is scalded. Serve and enjoy.
