italian wedding soup
This is so good. My family from out of town always went to a local Italian place to get this soup. Now they ask me to make it for them when they visit. This is my recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 - egg
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1-1/4 teaspoon pepper, divided
- 1-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 quarts chcken broth
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh sminach
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1-1/4 cup cooked medium pasta shells or spirals
