How to Make Italian Submarine Sandwich Soup

  1. Brown sausage and chopped meat in a large pot. Add salt and pepper to taste
  2. Chop onion and garlic and pepper (if you don't like peppers, don't use them) add to brown meat. Let soften. Take this time to cut your ham into small pieces
  3. Add ham and bagged pepperoni. Stir all ingredients.
  4. Add 2 cans of diced tomatoes and stir. Again salt and pepper to taste. Let these ingredients simmer for a few minutes and add chicken stock. Keep soup simmering at medium heat.
  5. About 10 minutes before you're ready to serve add you pasta.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Cut your italian bread into cubes. Put in a large bowl add olive oil cheese italian seasoning and romano cheese. Mix all the ingredients in the bowl. I use my hands but you can use a spoon if you'd like. Place croutons on baking sheet bake for 6 minutes. Turn them with a spatula and bake for another 6 minutes.
  7. Put your soup in a bowl and serve with the croutons on top. I add more romano cheese before I serve.
