How to Make Italian Submarine Sandwich Soup

  • 1Brown sausage and chopped meat in a large pot. Add salt and pepper to taste
  • 2Chop onion and garlic and pepper (if you don't like peppers, don't use them) add to brown meat. Let soften. Take this time to cut your ham into small pieces
  • 3Add ham and bagged pepperoni. Stir all ingredients.
  • 4Add 2 cans of diced tomatoes and stir. Again salt and pepper to taste. Let these ingredients simmer for a few minutes and add chicken stock. Keep soup simmering at medium heat.
  • 5About 10 minutes before you're ready to serve add you pasta.
  • 6Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Cut your italian bread into cubes. Put in a large bowl add olive oil cheese italian seasoning and romano cheese. Mix all the ingredients in the bowl. I use my hands but you can use a spoon if you'd like. Place croutons on baking sheet bake for 6 minutes. Turn them with a spatula and bake for another 6 minutes.
  • 7Put your soup in a bowl and serve with the croutons on top. I add more romano cheese before I serve.
