Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    smoked sausage
  • 1
    clove garlic, minced
  • 28 oz
    beef broth
  • 1/2 oz
    can diced tomatoes
  • 1 c
    sliced carrots
  • 1/2 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1/2 oz
    can great northern beans, undrained
  • 2 small
    zucchinis, cubed

How to Make Italian Sausage Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. In a stockpot or dutch oven, brown sausage with garlic.
  2. Stir in broth, tomatoes, carrots, Italian seasonings, salt and pepper.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in beans with liquid and zucchini.
  5. Cover and simmer another 15 minutes or until zucchini is tender.
