Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 1 - clove garlic, minced
  • 28 ounces beef broth
  • 1/2 ounce can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 ounce can great northern beans, undrained
  • 2 small zucchinis, cubed

How To Make italian sausage soup

  • Step 1
    In a stockpot or dutch oven, brown sausage with garlic.
  • Step 2
    Stir in broth, tomatoes, carrots, Italian seasonings, salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Stir in beans with liquid and zucchini.
  • Step 5
    Cover and simmer another 15 minutes or until zucchini is tender.
