This is my 1st recipe to post. I made this concoction from what I had on hand. I wrote it down just in case and very happy I did.
I am always being asked for recipes and usually have to make it again just to get it right. Hope you enjoy... Lolly

italian style chicken sausage, sliced
yellow onion, chopped
2 clove
1 tsp
olive oil, extra virgin
2 c
chicken stock made from chicken base
1 c
1 can(s)
navy beans, rinsed
1 can(s)
chopped tomatoes, undrained
1 c
elbow macaroni, uncooked
2 c
baby spinach leaves
1 c
mozzarella cheese, shredded

How to Make Italiam Sausage Soup


  • 1COOK sausage, onions and garlic in olive oil in large saucepan with lid,(need lid for last step),for 15 minutes stirring often.
  • 2ADD chicken broth, water, beans and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Stir in pasta, cook 8 minutes or until pasta is done. Remove from heat.
  • 3STIR in spinach, cover. Let stand at least 5 minutes. Serve in flat round bowls and top with cheese. Serve with Hot Italian Bread and Butter.
