- 3 pounds lamb stew meat, boneless, cut into 2" cubes
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter or bacon grease
- 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 2 cups water
- 10 medium potatoes
- 10 small onions
- 1 package frozen peas
How To Make irish stew, mom

Step 1Flour meat, brown in butter. Add parsley, thyme and water, cover and simmer 45 min. Add potatoes and onions, cover and simmer 30 min. Add peas. Cook 15 min. Add more water as needed. serve with pickled red cabbage and deviled eggs.
