Ingredients
- 2 cups red lentils
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1/2 cup parsley chopped
How To Make instant pot lentil soup

Step 1Add the lentils, onion, olive oil and water to instant pot. Cook for 10 minutes. Turn off pot and let sit 10 minutes then quick release any remaining pressure.

Step 2Remove lentils from pot and place in food processor.= and add cumin and black pepper. Process until smooth. Add to a pot on the stove and bring to a boil over med high heat. If the lentils are to thick add more water.

Step 3Stir in the onion soup mix and cook 2 minutes. Stir in the parsley and serve
