Ingredients For hunter's stew

2 lbvenison , cubed

4 cwater or beef broth
-
6 oz cantomato paste
-
6carrots, cut into chunks
-
2onions, cut into chunks
-
2 cchopped celery
-
oregano to taste
-
garlic powder to taste
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
1/2 coil
How To Make hunter's stew

1In a large, heavy skillet, brown venison in oil until caramelized. Add water or broth and tomato paste. Simmer for 2 hours.

2Add carrots, onions, celery, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper, cook for about 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Thicken with flour and water to desired consistency.

3Serve over biscuits, mashed potatoes, or noodles.
