Hot Doggity Dog Soup

Shelly Saxell

A family favorite in my home for years. My three sons think this is wonderful. Who would of knew a few ingredients and PRESTO, a wonderful soup. Taste better the next day when all the flavors have melded together.

  • 1Saute onion in butter, until tender.
  • 2In a large saucepan over medium high heat, combine the potatoes, onion, seasonings, and water and boil for 15 minutes, or until tender.
  • 3Add the tomato soup and the hot dogs and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the hot dogs are heated through.
  • 4Believe it or not this recipe does not need much seasoning. The hot dogs give it a unique taste.
