Ingredients
- 1.5 cups squash, cooked and mashed
- 1 cup hazelnuts, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 quart chicken broth
- pinch salt
- pinch pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons sherry
How To Make hazelnut squash soup

Step 1Combine squash, hazelnuts, onion and broth in saucepan.

Step 2Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3Stir in salt to taste, pepper, butter and sherry.

Step 4Garnish with roasted and sliced hazelnuts, if desired.
