This recipe works with most kinds of ground meat. I have used burger, turkey, deer, and pork for this and so far it always comes out well. You can also add whatever veggies you want to it, I normally do mixed veggies or just corn depending on what I have.

Ingredients

2 lb
ground meat
2 Tbsp
butter
1/2 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
oregano
1/2 tsp
basil
4 tsp
chicken base or boullion
6 c
boiling water
2 Tbsp
soy sauce
3 c
frozen vegetables
2 1/2 c
rice
1 can(s)
stewed tomatoes

How to Make Ground Meat Crock-Pot Stew

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a skillet brown the meat and then strain off the grease.
  • 2Place all ingredients except rice in crock-pot and mix together.
  • 3Turn crock-pot on low and cook for 2 to 4 hours.
  • 4Place rice in crock-pot and turn it to high, continue to cook for 1 hour.
  • 5Move temp to warm and enjoy.
