THIS RECIPE WAS GIVEN TO ME BY A CO-WORKER BEFORE I RETIRED. THIS RECIPE SOUNDS AWFUL, BUT IT IS GOOD.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans pinto beans, including liquid
  • 2 cans grt. northern beans, including liquid
  • 2 cans mixed greens, including liquid
  • 2 cans tunip greens, including liquid
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large grn. pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 3 - beef bouillon cubes
  • 3 - chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 pound skinless smoked sausage, cut into qtrs.
  • 1 pound cubed ham

How To Make green swamp soup

  • Step 1
    SAUTE ONION, GRN PEPPER, CELERY WITH COOKING SPRAY ADD ALL THE BOUILLON CUBES TOGETHER WITH 6 C. HOT WATER. ADD REMAINING INGREDS.
  • Step 2
    I USED A LARGE PAN AS FOR THE VOLUME OF THE SOUP
  • Step 3
    SIMMER ON MED. HEAT FOR 1- 1 1/2 HRS. ENJOY
