This recipe was born on a cold March afternoon.I was bored,and since I hate to shop love to cook,I decided to see what I could create without going to the store.Long story short,I am not allowed at church gatherings without my Garlic Soup!Here it is...

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1/2 large onion,chopped
  • 6-8 cloves garlic,minced(depending on size)
  • 4 cans fat free evaporated milk(12 oz.)
  • 4 cans fat-free,low sodium chicken broth(14.5 oz)
  • 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 4 teaspoons parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

How To Make garlic soup

  • Step 1
    Saute onions and garlic in the melted butter.Add milk,broth,cheese,parsely and cayenne pepper.Bring soup to a boil and simmer uncovered for ten minutes.Let cool and enjoy!Goes great with broiled filet mingnon.
