Ingredients

  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

How To Make egg drop soup

  • Step 1
    Heat Chicken broth in a large pot until boiling, add salt.
  • Step 2
    Combine water & cornstarch. Stir until mixed & smooth. Pour cornstarch into broth & stir over medium heat until mixture starts to thicken. Slowly pour in egg & stir.
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat and pour into soup bowls. Sprinkle with green onions & serve. You can add crisp noodles.
