Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried wakame sea weed
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons instant dashi granules
  • 1/2 cup cubed firm tofu
  • 1/2 cup white miso paste
  • 2 scallions chopped

How To Make easy quick miso soup

  • Step 1
    Place the Wakame in a small bowl and cover it with hot water and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Add the water to a stock pot. Bring to a boil whisking in the instant Dashi. Turn heat to medium and add the tofu. Cook 1 minutes. Scoop out about 1/2 cup of the soup and mix it with the miso paste until it is smooth.
  • Step 3
    Add the Miso mixture to the soup. Cook 1 minute. Drain the Wakame and add to the soup. Cook 2 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Ladle into bowls and add the scallions.
