  • 1 Tbsp
    dried wakame sea weed
  • 4 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    instant dashi granules
  • 1/2 c
    cubed firm tofu
  • 1/2 c
    white miso paste
  • 2
    scallions chopped

How to Make Easy Quick Miso Soup


  1. Place the Wakame in a small bowl and cover it with hot water and set aside.
  2. Add the water to a stock pot. Bring to a boil whisking in the instant Dashi. Turn heat to medium and add the tofu. Cook 1 minutes. Scoop out about 1/2 cup of the soup and mix it with the miso paste until it is smooth.
  3. Add the Miso mixture to the soup. Cook 1 minute. Drain the Wakame and add to the soup. Cook 2 minutes.
  4. Ladle into bowls and add the scallions.
