Ingredients
- 1 package shredded hashbrowns
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 package diced carrots, onions, celery, or do your own but why not make it easy!
- 2 - bay leaves
- dash to your liking salt and pepper, i also add grill seasoning for meat and thyme and tarragon
- 2 packages 8 oz each, cream cheese
- 1 package diced ham (or bacon)
- 1 clove garlic

Step 1Bring everything except cream cheese to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes. Add cream cheese. I transfer to crock pot and put on low. Add shredded cheese before serving. Great with some hot, crusty bread. So simple, yet so good.
