this recipe was created by my father back in the 60's .i came from a family of twelve children and my father had to make ends meet,so he made a huge pot of soup and he called it( specialty).i think we had it once a week ,never got tired of it ,all of us children still make it today and never adding or taking away any ingredients,it just wouldn't be the same ,sure hope you enjoy it as much as we did and still do today .

Ingredients
- 1 package hot dogs (beef or pork)
- 1 package mild sausage (or hot)
- 4 cans bushes vegetarian baked beans
- 6 tablespoons tabasco sauce (more or less what ever you like )
- 4 cans use the cans from the beans to add the water .
- DADS SPECIALTY SOUP

Step 1put beans and water and Tabasco sauce in a large pot and start cooking .

Step 2slice all hot dogs into small round bite size pieces and fry until cooked and drain off oil , add to beans ,

Step 3crumble sausage up into small pieces and fry until cooked ,drain and add to beans ,

Step 4let the mixture simmer on low for a good hour ,

Step 5eat with loaf bread or home made biscuits ,yum ,great for a cold winter night ,enjoy

Step 6for more soup just double the recipe .
