Slow Cooker Crock Pot

16oz pkg
dried green split pea's ; rinsed
ham bone or meaty ham hocks
3 medium
carrots ; peeled and sliced
1 medium
onion ; chopped
2 stick
celery + leaves ; chopped
2 clove
garlic ; minced
bay leaf
1/4 c
parsley ; chopped
1 Tbsp
seasoned salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp
fresh pepper
1 1/2 qt
hot water (6 cups)

How to Make Crockpot Split Pea Soup


  • 1Layer ingredients in the crock pot ; pour in water ; DO NOT STIR.
  • 2Cover and cook on HIGH setting 4-5 hours or on LOW setting for 8-10 hours ; until the peas are very soft and the meat falls off the bone.
  • 3Remove bone and bay leaf before serving.
