Ingredients

  • 2 pounds venison, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 - celery stalks, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 - salt to taste
  • 1 - pepper to taste
  • 1 - oregano
  • 1 - basil

How To Make crock pot venison stew

  • Step 1
    Brown meat in oil.
  • Step 2
    Place celery and onion at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Step 3
    Add browned meat and remaining ingredients.
  • Step 4
    Cook on low for 7-10 hours.
