How to Make Crock-Pot Sausage and Potato Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Place cut sausage, potatoes and vegetables into crock pot.
  2. Combine chicken broth, dry onion soup mix, and cream of mushroom soup. Mix well to combine all ingredients.(What I did was stir together the mushroom and dry onion soup using just about 1/2 of the chicken broth to dissolve the dry soup base and thin out the mushroom soup and then added the remaining chicken broth)
Pour over vegetables and sausage in crock pot.
  3. Cook on Low for 6-8 hours or High for 3-4 hours.

**OPTIONAL: approx 5 minutes before serving you may stir in 1/2 cup sour cream.
