Ingredients

  • 3 c
    beef broth
  • 1 bottle
    (12 ounces) beck’s oktoberfest beer
  • 4 medium
    red potatoes, cubed
  • 3 medium
    carrots, sliced
  • 3 medium
    celery ribs, sliced
  • 1 large
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    coarse ground mustard
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 pkg
    (16 ounces) johnsonville® smoked bratwurst, sliced
  • 2 medium
    tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 3 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp
    cold water

How to Make Colorful Fall Harvest Stew

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the broth, Beck’s Oktoberfest Beer, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, mustard and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes until vegetables are tender. Stir in Johnsonville® Smoked Bratwurst and tomatoes.
  2. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into stew. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Serve hot with a thick slice of bread.
