(1 RATING)
My husband loves sausage so revamped a recipe I saw. It's really filling but not heavy at the same time. Really warms you up on a cold night! Enjoy!

How To Make ciao bella sausage soup
-
Step 1Brown sausage in a dutch oven or large pot on medium heat. Break up sausage as it's cooking. Drain excess fat. Return sausage to the pot. Add white wine and allow to reduce for 3-5 minutes.
-
Step 2Add water, tomatoes, soup, basil, fennel, pepper, bouillon, worcestershire sauce and bay leaf on high. Allow to come to a boil then reduce to low and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
-
Step 3Add orzo pasta simmer for 15 minutes until pasta is done. Add spinach just until wilted.
-
Step 4Discard bay leaf and serve. Goes great with focaccia bread I posted a recipe for.
