Ingredients

  • 3 lbs
    lean ground beef cooked, drained, crumbled
  • 1
    large yellow onion, cooked with ground beef
  • 1 ea can(s)
    can of light red kidney beans,., dark red kidney beans and black beans
  • 2 can(s)
    pinto beans
  • 2 can(s)
    chili tomato sauce hot
  • 2 can(s)
    28 oz diced tomatoes, can use the mexican or with green peppers- your choice
  • 1 tbsp
    red pepper flakes or to taste
  • 3 tbsp
    chili powder or to taste
  • 1 cp
    macaroni or shells or pasta of your choice, cooked and drained

How to Make Chili

Step-by-Step

  1. cook, drain, crumble the ground beef with chopped onion. In a large pot place all other ingredients and start warming. Add drained meat/onion/spices. Simmer for a couple of hours. I make this a day ahead of when we want to eat it. Can also freeze this.
