Ingredients

  • 3 lbs - lean ground beef cooked, drained, crumbled
  • 1 - large yellow onion, cooked with ground beef
  • 1 ea can can of light red kidney beans,., dark red kidney beans and black beans
  • 2 cans pinto beans
  • 2 cans chili tomato sauce hot
  • 2 cans 28 oz diced tomatoes, can use the mexican or with green peppers- your choice
  • 1 tbsp - red pepper flakes or to taste
  • 3 tbsp - chili powder or to taste
  • 1 cp - macaroni or shells or pasta of your choice, cooked and drained

How To Make chili

  • Step 1
    cook, drain, crumble the ground beef with chopped onion. In a large pot place all other ingredients and start warming. Add drained meat/onion/spices. Simmer for a couple of hours. I make this a day ahead of when we want to eat it. Can also freeze this.
