chicken cheese soup
This is a favorite at our school luncheons and was a great way to convince my son that he likes vegetables. It isn't a healthy dinner but good and hot way to fill our bellies while working on the farm in our cold winter months. (we just moved onto a farm in Upstate New York from Kansas)

Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1/3 cup celery, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup flour
- 4 cups millk
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 16 ounces cheese whiz
- 2-3 - chicken breast, chopped
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
How To Make chicken cheese soup

Step 1Saute onion in butter in large pot

Step 2Add carrot, celery, green onions, and water. cook till tender.

Step 3Mix together flour and milk then add to large pot.

Step 4Add chicken broth, cheese whiz, chicken, dry mustard, and cayenne pepper. Heat till hot but DO NOT BOIL. Enjoy
