Want a comforting, family pleasing soup to combat the cloudy-weather blues? This is one of my most requested dishes! My husband loves it so much he learned to make it so he could cook it on nights that I work.

Ingredients
- 6 - medium potatoes, diced
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon sale
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 12 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 - knorr chicken bouillon cube, crumbled
- 1 cup chopped ham
How To Make cheesy potato soup

Step 1Place potatoes in a dutch oven or large sauce pan and cover with water by 1 inch.

Step 2Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.

Step 3Mash potatoes in liquid with hand mixer or immersion blender. DO NOT DRAIN!

Step 4Add remaining ingredients; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Serve!
