amana cheese soup
I absolutely love this cheese soup recipe. I acquired it from an elderly lady in my hometown, and it was her homemade recipe. The soup is extremely easy to make, and it's quick. Not to mention tasty! Sometimes I like to add more cheese, but that is personal preference.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion (may substitute for 1/2 teaspoon(s) onion powder)
- 4 tablespoons oleo
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups chicken broth or bouillon
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese (i like to use mild cheddar cheese)
How To Make amana cheese soup

Step 1Brown onion in oleo. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually stir in milk and broth.

Step 2Bring to a boil and boil for one minute, stirring constantly.

Step 3Add cheese and cook slowly, stirring constantly until cheese is melted.

Step 4After the soup is ready, test to see if you need to add more cheese. Enjoy!
