this is a very easy stew we have a good bit in the winter time

Ingredients

  • 1 - rotisserie chicken, skin removed and meat shredded
  • 2 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups pelled, chopped red potatoes
  • 1 3/4 cups frozen lima beans
  • 1 3/4 cups frozen whole kernel corn
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion flakes

How To Make brunswick stew

  • Step 1
    In a large dutch oven add all ingredients. Stir. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
